Sheikh Osama

Al-Azhar Foundation was established by Sheikh Osama Saad in 2017. Sheikh Osama, a graduate of the prestigious Al-Azhar University in Cairo, always felt a calling to spread his knowledge of Islam through teaching the youth and preparing them to be the next generation of Muslim leaders.

Al-Azhar Foundation prides itself in having a diverse and welcoming community. Sheikh Osama strives to build a solid foundation of faith among his community members, and provide a strong backbone of Islamic teachings and moral compass for future generations.

Upon coming to the Indianapolis area, Sheikh Osama realized the need for a school dedicated to Quran memorization and recitation. However, as the needs of the community grew so did the services provided.
